Not exactly rules, just facts about my journal:
- Only friends-lock the stuff that seems important to me.
- I don't tend to add anybody unless I've talked to them before and/or have a lot of the same interests.
- I notice a lot of people say stuff like "omg ur layout is so gr8, wanna b frends???" when they comment here. Umm....No.
- Please don't add me if you talk l337 and the like.
- If you are looking for icons, (and being on my f-list isn't going to get you special privileges) please head over to
keloid_graphics. - Comments are screened because I like its neatness. :P

I refuse to let this journal go down in flames. I don't care if anyone reads it--I just need to keep up.

Got back from the canoe trip on Saturday. Rather dull trip, other than...No, no other than. It was pretty dull. I'm not going on another one ever unless it's with people I actually like and can tolerate from now on.
I've been drawing though, since I've been home. Fallen back in love with a few Japanese artists that I had forgotten I liked so much. Not much else going on.
( something I just threw together late Sunday night )
Saw Stardust with Michelle. I missed her! I didn't really get a chance to hang out with her this summer as much as I would have liked to. Stardust itself was just okay... I love Claire Danes, (even if she's a boyfriend-stealer) I love Robert Deniro, Michelle Pfeiffer was unbelievably stunning, Charlie Cox was incredibly adorable-- all the characters seemed cute it still seemed like a great love story/fantasy... But something was still lacking with the movie. Whatever, I'm shitty with reviews so it really doesn't matter.
Superbad on Friday. Registration for school on Monday. School on Thursday? I think so.

Last week at some point I went and saw Hot Rod with
amishfantasy and it was grand. The movie surprised me, I was expecting it wasn't going to be nearly as funny as it was. It seemed a little lame sometimes, and although the script for it has been circulating between comedians on SNL for some time, the Lonely Island managed to put their own twist on things. Dave was easily the greatest part of that movie. It was a nice little comedy fix for me, got me away from how badly I want to see Superbad.
Lollapalooza on Saturday. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't go on Friday-- I ended up missing Daft Punk. That'll be something I'll regret one long fucking time.

music: Inmates, The Good Life (Why can't I stop listening to this song?!)
Anyone got any music they could recommend me?
How about any good books they've been reading?
I've been on a reading binge the past week or so.
Also, I want a new hair cut. I sketched something out but I'm afraid it's hard to read... I can't find ANY picture of what I want and so I just thought, "Hey, maybe I can draw it!" I don't think it worked out.

Been actually working on clothing projects as of late. Nothing from scratch, just tailoring. At least it's something. Changed my user info; I didn't mean to do it right after
dim_quiet but she was talking abut it and I got bored. The mask featured in my profile is the same one I'm working on to turn into a stencil. Cut it out all ready, just need to actually... Paint it. Woo.

Hi guys. Some exciting news: I just found out that the relatively constant aching on the left side of my jaw is quite possibly not permanent! I went over to the jaw doctor (jawctor) today and after some thorough sitting on his lap and answering questions and explaining the different pains to him, he prescribed some anti-inflammatory medication. He then informed me that the only known side-effect to the medication (though extremely rare) is sudden death.
Clark and Michael
How could I not absolutely love Michael Cera? His beige cardigans and awkward sense of humor are just my thing.

In other news, I need to file my nails. And like.. Get to having a social life again.

In the United States, widespread belief in the existence of laws against driving barefoot has been debunked as an urban legend. Members of the Society for Barefoot Living wrote letters to the highway patrols of all 50 states and were told by officials in each state that driving barefoot was not illegal. (Wikipedia)

I'm such a bad updater.
Um, before I fall asleep, I thought I might get this over and done with.
No matter how hard I try, I have an eternal and undying crush on Shia LaBeouf.
I might actually start reading books on my own time again. It's a good feeling to get back into the mix.
Finished the first two of the Hitchhiker's Guide series, and finished Eldest and Eragon as well, in the past two weeks. I need to start cracking down on reading! Like those posters in the IMC.
I had lost most of music on my iPod a while ago, and I am slowly (but surely!) accumulating it all over again finally. YES.
There was something really really important I was going to say, I swear. But I've forgotten. Not that important, possibly. But it probably was.
